My story . . .
Hi, my name is Anika. I'm an ADHD Coach and BPS-accredited Practitioner with a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology. I'm also a SEND Tutor, who empowers children and young adults to explore their path in and outside of school. My biggest strength is "learning", investing my personal and professional time to learn, practise, and develop new skills. Exposing myself to new theories, situations, and discussions, I have managed to build consistent understandings new ADHD challenges that impact our daily lives and have long-lasting effects on our future.
Due to my consistent habit of learning, I have accumulated a substantial amount of knowledge, complemented by CPD training certificates. Each course adds value to my life and helps me develop my professional practice in Mental Health, in particular, in ADHD, which is my passion.
As an accredited Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, I have over 15 years of experience in mentoring and providing psychological sessions to young adults in primary and secondary schools, as well as giving one-to-one psychological support to adults and university students with mental health challenges. Due to my firm belief in a person-centred approach, I continually develop my interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, applying practical psychological approaches tailored to the needs of each individual in my ADHD practice.

Self Love ADHD Coach and SEND Tutor
With all my on-going learning, qualifications, and professional experience, I was able to identify my own ADHD behaviours and practice different solutions and integrate effective strategies into my life. As a result, I acknowledge the need for self-love, kindness, and unconditional acceptance to one's self. There are many methods out there and reasons to apply the methods, but not enough acknowledgment of our achievements, efforts of change, adaptability, and tracking of our progress.

As ADHD neuro-divergent people, we really do struggle to trace and track our progress or feel proud of our achievements, no matter how big or small they are.
Therefore, acknowledging our struggles and focusing on them seems to be our most favored activity that we have became comfortable and familiar with. Which is why I am most passionate to help my clients with self-love, reflection, and unconditional acceptance. Some of the approaches I use are; self-centered approach, compassionate inquiry, validation, growth frame-works, and emotional Intelligence.
